Joyce Swanson - Obituary

rances Joyce Swanson, a resident of Edgewater, MD, died on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at LaCasa Assisted Living. She was 83 years old. Known by family and friends as Joyce, she was born on September 2, 1933. She worked for the federal government as an administrative assistant; finishing her career at the Department of Energy. Joyce was a longtime member of the Annapolis Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Al Swanson. Joyce is survived by two daughters, Susan Vroblesky of Arnold, MD and Bonnie Seen of Spencer, WV; and eight grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. Joyce's memorial service will be offered on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Annapolis Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 710 Ridgely Avenue, Annapolis, MD at 4:30 p.m. An online guestbook is available by visiting the link on this page.
