Julian William Boyd - Obituary

ulian William Boyd, 72, a 27-year resident of Severna Park, MD and previously of Pasadena, MD, died at his home on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Known to everyone as Jay or Butch, he was born on January 4, 1948, in Baltimore, MD. Jay worked in the automobile service industry in the Baltimore area, where he retired as a service director. Butch proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Julian loved boating and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay, Severn River, Rock Creek, Baltimore Harbor, and Hart-Miller Island. He also enjoyed pets and animals, reading, music, history, and social times with friends and family. Julian was preceded in death by his parents, Julian McHenry Boyd, Anna Joan Markley nee Birch, and William Robert Markley; and two siblings, Bonnie Linda Faber nee Boyd of Kingsville, MD and Melody Lee Bundick nee Markley of Frankford, DE. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Sharon Jedlicka; two children, Marc Sean Boyd of Port Deposit, MD and Jay Stephen Boyd and his wife, Michele Lea Boyd of Severna Park, MD; a brother, Robin Walter Boyd of Lancaster, PA; and two granddaughters, Brittany Nicole and Jaime Michele Boyd.
