Julie M. Bodziak - Crandell - Obituary

ulie Marie Bodziak-Crandell, 41, a resident of Riva, MD and formerly of Lothian, MD, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, January 31. Born on July 29, 1980 in New York to James and Diane Bodziak, Julie was a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia. She worked for the Anne Arundel County School System as a second grade teacher at Davidsonville Elementary School and enjoyed fitness, reading and traveling. In addition to her parents, Julie is survived by her children, Dylan, Lea and Lauren all of Lothian, MD and her brother, Jeffrey Bodziak of Amherst, NY. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD 21035 on Saturday, February 5 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122 or the Moms Group of Holy Family Parish, at the church address above.
