Juliet Abend - Obituary

uliet “Pat” Abend, a 58-year resident of Davidsonville, and previously of Baltimore County, died on December 30, 2011 of natural causes at the Washington Hospital Center. Pat was born January 6, 1932 in Baltimore, MD to the late Howard and Alice Mace. She was co-owner of Frank Abend Landscaping and enjoyed bowling and sewing. Pat is survived by her husband of 58 years, Frank Abend of Davidsonville, one son, Steve Abend of Davidsonville and one daughter Sandy Collins of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is also survived by four sisters, Dorothy Landenklos, Betty Bartgis, Nancy Gostomski and Tillie Albright, and one brother John Mace. Friends are invited to Pat’s Life Celebration on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037 where funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6 at 11am. Entombment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, MD.
