Please sign the guestbook at: www.KalasFuneralHomes.com Julio Ferrer was born on February 1, 1936 in Binmaley, Pangasinan, Philippines. He was the oldest of eight children. He was pre-deceased by his parents Julio and Anastacia and siblings Patricia, Porfirio, and Jaime. His other siblings are Felicitas, Zenaida, Mario, Sifrino, and Demetrio. He earned his medical degree in the Philippines before immmigrating to the United States with his family in 1972. On April 12, 1964 he married Lolita Lugue and they had three children Maricar, Joel, and Jane. They were happily married for 43 years and she lovingly cared for him during the last years of his life. They were blessed with six grandchildren, Allison, Bradley, Nailah, Najem, Madyson, and Nolah. He found great joy in spending time with all of them and looked forward to family vacations and gatherings. He was employed by Howard University Hospital as a respiratory therapist. After more than 27 years of dedicated service, he retired in 2001. Over the years he also worked part time at Doctors Hospital in Lanham and George Washington University Hospital. He was well liked and respected by his co-workers. Jun was an active member of St. Mary's of Piscataway, The South Potomac Lions Club and The Pangasinan Association. He enjoyed music and loved to dance. He liked to travel to see different places in the world. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family.
