une Lorraine Carroll June Lorraine Carroll, “June Bug”, 84, a 15 year resident of Edgewater and previously a 6 year resident of Queenstown, MD, died on June 10, 2011 at Heritage Harbour Health & Rehab Center from complications of C.O.P.D. Born June 11, 1926, in Washington, D.C to the late Howard and Charlotte Devers, and worked as a bookkeeper for GEICO Insurance Company. June was a member of the American Legion Post 226 Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed eating crabs and raising her five wonderful children. June is survived by her son, Tommy Thombs of Stevensville, MD; daughters, Diane Dermont of Cocoa, Florida, Laura Gray of Oak Hill, Virginia and Holly Ferguson of Dover, New Hampshire. Friends are invited to June’s Life Celebration on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 4pm at Kent Island United Methodist Church, 2739 Cox Neck Road, Chester, MD. 21619. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 11350 McCormick Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
