June A. Dove - Obituary

une A. Dove, 91, of West River, MD passed away on July 29, 2018 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born on May 26, 1927 in Annapolis, MD to the late Elmer and Mattie (Lowman) Meade, June was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose passion was creating a comfortable home for her family and supporting each of them in their endeavors. She was a member of Eastport Baptist Church. June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene W. Dove, Jr., who died in 1973. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dove Gannacone of West River; one sister, Betty Lee Greenwell of Stevensville, MD; three grandchildren, Tony Gannacone III, Christina Lyn Gannacone and Susan Gannacone Deputy; and six great grandchildren. June was also the aunt of Joseph (Doris) Greenwell, Jr., William H. (Peggy) Greenwell and the late Donald E. Greenwell and his wife, Christine Greenwell. Friends are invited to celebrate June’s life with her family on Wednesday, August 1 from 11 a.m. until her funeral service begins at 12 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD.
