Karen Lynn Edwards - Obituary

aren Lynn Davis-Edwards, “Keranelly”, a resident of Davidsonville, MD, and previously of Marlow Heights, MD, died on June 17, 2026, at her home from small-cell lung cancer. Born October 2, 1966, in Washington, D.C., to the late John E. and Dottie C. Davis, she worked as an order taker in the paper industry's customer service department. Karen enjoyed crafts, painting, and spending time with her multiple cats. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jon M. Edwards, Jr.; two daughters, Amy Denise of Westminster, MD, and Kimberly Ann of Sarasota, FL; and a brother, Kenny Davis of London, KY. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Karen’s life on Saturday, June 20 from 3 to 4 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD.
