Karen Kolenburg - Obituary

AREN LIPE KOLENBERG, 67, beloved mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2014, in Destin, Florida. She was born August 28, 1946 in Niles, Michigan to Robert and Phyllis Stevens and is survived by her brother, Robert Stevens, her children, Annie Elmore, Amy Robertson , and Becki Kolenberg, and her grandchildren, Ella, Austin, Zachary and Isabel. She spent most of her life in Annapolis pursuing her passion for art, music and spending time on the water before making a home for herself in Freeport, FL for the past seven years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Karen Kolenberg Art Scholarship Fund, Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, Inc., Attn: Lee Greene, 105 Hogtown Bayou Lane, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 A memorial celebration will be held July 12, 2014 at 4:00pm at The George P. Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater.
