n Friday, August 14, 2026, Karin Marie Yeatman of Camp Springs, MD, passed away peacefully at Gilchrist Hospice Center of Columbia, MD. She was born on October 16, 1936, in Berna, Germany, to the late Martin and Marianne (Keusch) Riehmer. Karin was married for 58 wonderful years to her husband Albert “Al” Yeatman, Jr., until his passing in December 2011. Karin’s early life was focused on making a loving home for her husband and three children. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting blankets for many of her family and friends who still enjoy the warmth and comfort of these cherished gifts. She was also part of the womens’ Sodality at St. Philip the Apostle church and enjoyed dedicating many hours helping out at church functions and events.
She is survived by her children Victoria (Andrew) Limerick, Daniel (Kym) and Kenneth (Lesya) Yeatman; and beloved brother, Alfred Riehmer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and was a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Karin’s life on Monday, August 24 from 11am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs, MD 20746. Interment private.
