URPHY KATHERINE LORRAINE MURPHY On Monday, June 29, 2009. The beloved wife of the late Ambrose G. Murphy, Jr.; mother of Ambrose G. (Barbara) Murphy, III, Raymond J. (Trudie Cora) Murphy and the late Barbara L. Porter. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to Katherine's Life Celebration on Wednesday, July 1 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, July 2 at 12noon from St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bryantown, Md. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary Washington Hospice, 2600 Mary Washington Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
