Kathleen Cassidy - Obituary

athleen Louise Cassidy, née Terrey, age 65, died on December 23rd, 2014 in Annapolis, Maryland. Our beloved Kathy was predeceased by her husband, Melvin L. Cassidy Jr. and her parents J. Howard Terrey and Mary Terrey (Lonergan). Kathy was survived and cherished by her many cousins: Lee and Stephen Terrey of Chadds Ford, PA, Gayle Beaney of Wallingford, PA, Bruce Terrey of Yucca Valley, CA, Francis Holveck of Townsend, DE, William Terrey of Crystal Lake, IL, James Terrey of Bonita Spring, FL, Terrey Weaver of Mifflinburg, PA, Lynda Merle of Winter Haven, FL, and Patti Ferro of Phoenixville, PA. Kathy touched the lives of many other family members and dear friends. She will be greatly missed by them and especially by her close friend, Sue Hadaway. Kathy was recruited from high school by the Federal Bureau of Investigations in 1967. She retired from the FBI, Identification Division, after 28 loyal years. She also worked for Royal Farms Stores in Edgewater. For the last 29 years she was a member of the Cummings-Behlke American Legion Auxiliary Post 226 in Mayo, MD. Kathy was also involved with the South County Senior Center and the Londontown Peppers Senior Group of Edgewater. Friends and family will honor Kathleen's life with a memorial service and reception on Wednesday, January 21st from 1:00 to 4:00pm at Cummings-Behlke American Legion Post 226 located at 830 Mayo Road, (E. Central Avenue, Rt. 214), Mayo, MD. Interment will be private.
