Kathleen Kenny - Obituary

athleen Kenny, 42, of Arnold, Maryland, passed away suddenly on September 2, 2026. She was born on September 11, 1983, to Richard and Maureen Kenny. Kathleen dedicated 20 years of her life to caring for others as a Dental Assistant in Periodontics. She took great pride in her work and making her patients feel comfortable and cared for. Kathleen found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved music, getting lost in a good book, and watching movies. She was also an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed cheering on her team. Above all, Kathleen treasured the people she loved, especially her family, and the memories she created with them will remain in their hearts forever. Along with her parents, Kathleen is survived by her beloved son, Levi Kenny of Arnold, MD; her brother, Patrick Kenny (Katie Duncan Kenny) of Millersville, MD; her sister, Jacqueline Saad (Adam Saad) of Centreville, MD; and her cherished nieces and nephews, Sean, Jamie, and Casey. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kathleen’s life on Tuesday, September 15 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, September 16 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. Though her life was far too short, the love Kathleen gave and the memories she leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be loved, remembered, and missed always.
