Kathleen Shaide - Obituary

athleen "Kathy" Kay Shaide, a 28-year resident of Upper Marlboro, MD and previously of Helen, MD, died at Anne Arundel Medical Center on Monday, January 18, 2016. She was 71. Born August 15, 1944 in Lee, FL to the late Phyllis and Willard Wilson, she graduated from Northwood High School in 1962. Kathy was employed at Chopp & Co. in Brandywine, MD until she took a position at Lowe's until her retirement in 2011. She enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening and shopping. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis George Shaide, whom she married on November 25, 1964 and who died on August 14, 1985; and two siblings, Richard and Donna Wilson. She is survived by three daughters, Kelly Keene of Abingdon, VA, Tracy Shaide of Upper Marlboro, MD and Jennifer Shaide of Fredericksburg, VA; three grandchildren, Bret Mathena of Marion, VA, Christopher duCellier of King George, VA and Mikaela Miller of Upper Marlboro, MD; and five great-grandchildren.
