Kathleen Smith - Obituary

n Friday, May 16, 2014, Kathleen "Kay" Frances Smith, formerly of Ft. Washington, MD died peacefully in St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Jack Smith; loving mother of Michael Smith, Maureen (Stan) Horne, Kathy (Shinya) Matsunami and Karen (Scotty) Lowe; mother-in-law of Ratri Friend; grandmother of Katie and Amelia Lowe. Kay was a 30 year member of Clinton American Legion Post 259 and St. John Senior Lunch Bunch where she had many close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Kay's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 2401 Brinkley Rd., Ft. Washington, MD from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
