athryn “Kitty” Torre, 78, died on October 12, 2013. Mother to Philip, Tony, Terri, Kathy, Gina and Joseph. Grandmother to 12 grandchildren. Friends are invited to Kitty's Life Celebration on Wednesday, October 16 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 17 at 11AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Rd., Edgewater. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090 or a charity of your choice.
