Kathy Marie Crawford - Obituary

athy Marie Crawford, 65, a 19-year resident of Arnold and previously of Annapolis, passed away at her home on June 18, 2018. Born on June 5, 1953 in Asheville, NC to the late Johnnie and Mary Garner, Kathy graduated from Annapolis High School. She began working at the former Anne Arundel General Hospital and later worked in several doctors’ offices where she eventually became an office manager. While Kathy enjoyed her professional career, her greatest joy and satisfaction came from being a wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, loved spending time in Ocean City and was a member of the Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Robert J. Crawford; her son, Eric Crawford of Arnold and her daughter, Rachel Greene of Chapin, SC. Friends are invited to celebrate Kathy’s life with her family on Thursday, June 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until her funeral service begins at 7 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD.
