Kathy Anne Stowe - Obituary

athy A. Stowe, 72, a seven-year resident of West River, MD, and previously of Clarksville, MD, passed on Monday, June 8, at her home due to PCA/MSA Neurological Disease. Born on February 21, 1954, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Mac and Marian McDonald, Kathy earned her BA and MBA from the University of Maryland. She was a financial analyst with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Washington Aqueduct. After retiring, she worked for the Howard County Poetry and Literature Society. She enjoyed painting, literature, biking, and traveling. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Scott McDonald. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd D. Stowe; her son, Nicholas Stowe, and his wife, Yichen, of Potomac, MD; her siblings, Jeff McDonald of Cape Coral, FL, Holly Hash of Hopewell, VA, and Beth Kiesel of Melbourne Beach, FL; and her beloved cat, Smokey.
