Kay Morton - Obituary

n March 16, 2013, Kay Collins Morton, 77, a thirty year resident of Annapolis died at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born August 2, 1935 to the late Eugene and Cecile Collins, Kay worked part-time with the State Legislature in Annapolis. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge, shopping, traveling, taking river cruises in Europe and visiting extended family across the United States. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, David E. Morton. Kay is survived by her daughter, Melissa Morton of Wichita, KS and 37 year companion, Dick Doms of Tavares, FL. Friends are invited to Kay’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater on Thursday, March 21 from 6 to 8PM where a funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22 at 11:30AM. Interment Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
