On April 11th, 2021, Kelvin Leon Lytes at 63 years old, known as “Big K” transitioned from this earth into eternal rest.  He was born on November 25th, 1957. He is survived by his daughters Chesha L Hale, Jean Fluellyn , his grandchild Jarvis Monroe, his sisters Demetria Holloway, Annette Pitts, and his brothers, Jeffrey Holloway, Terrance Holloway, brother-in-law Roland Pitts, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Essie Mae Stewart, his father Roosevelt Lytes.

Kelvin grew up in SE Washington DC. He loved football, especially, the Washington Redskins. He loved music very much. His favorites groups were Earth Wind & Fire, Isley Brothers, Kool & The Gang, and he loved the song “Butterflies” by Michael Jackson as well.  He was fun loving, very creative, love to sing, love to be outside, love to play horses, enjoyed laughter and hanging out with his buddies.  

He will be greatly missed.
