Kenneth L. Orr, Jr. - Obituary

enneth L. Orr, Jr., 79, of Edgewater, MD, died peacefully at his home of natural causes on Monday, September 11, 2017. Ken proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and enjoyed a 28 year career with Giant Food. He took great pride in building two homes with his family. Ken was a member of American Legion Post 226 in Mayo and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting and watching football. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Orr and his sister, Peggy Orr Svolos. He is survived by his children, Glenn Orr of Annapolis, MD, Christine Orr of Baltimore, MD and Toni McGrath of Lancaster, PA; his brother, Charles Orr of Crisfield, MD and his three grandchildren, Patrick Hartge, Mallory and Olivia Orr. Friends are invited to celebrate Ken's life on Saturday, September 16 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
