Kevin Michael Shepherd - Obituary

evin Michael Shepherd July 11, 1985 – January 26, 2024 On Friday, January 26, 2024, Kevin lost his life as the victim of a violent crime in Hagerstown, Maryland. Kevin lived a life that took him down many roads. He had a big heart that was always open. Kevin has many nicknames: Shep, Sheppy, Shep the Barber, Two Step Shep (because of his cool dance moves), and Kevy-Kev. He loved to laugh – when he laughed, it was hard and from his belly. Singing at the top of his lungs, whether he knew the words or not. If you knew him at all, you knew he definitely was not the best driver. Kevin always had a creative side to him. He took that part and became a barber who enjoyed the smiles on his client's faces when the cut was done. Kevin had his struggles in life, but he also would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved children; it was shown by the magnetic way they never wanted him to leave. Kevin made friends wherever he went, from Laurel, the Eastern shore of Maryland and Florida and California. Kevin is survived by his Mama, Carole Hansen; his stepfather, Gene Hansen; his father, Robert M. Shepherd; his stepmother, Ellen Shepherd; sister, Stephanie (James), brother, Robert; sister Candice Shepherd; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. All services for Kevin will be private at this time.
