Kevin Wick - Obituary

evin Charles Wick, 53, an 11-year resident of Annapolis, MD died at his home on April 26, 2011. Born December 5, 1957 in Denver, Colorado, Kevin graduated from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science. While at Colorado State, Kevin played on the school baseball team. Kevin worked as a self employed software consultant for federal government agencies. Kevin was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Annapolis and a longtime member of Old South Country Club. He was an avid golfer and loved being part of his children’s lives. Kevin was predeceased by a son, Charles N. Wick. He is survived by his 2 children, Colin C. Wick and Maureen G. Wick, both of Annapolis, MD; 2 brothers, Brian Wick of Denver, CO and Regan Wick of Sparta, NJ; a sister, Linanne Joseph of Denver, CO, also survived by twelve nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to Kevin’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD on Monday, May 2 at 10:30am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wick Children Education Fund, c/o Bank of America, 2120 West Street, Annapolis, MD 21401.
