iki Perikles Cardenas
Kiki Perikles Cardenas, 88, a lifelong resident of Maryland and most recently of Leisure World in Silver Spring, passed away on July 8, 2015 in Miami Beach, FL. She was born on May 17, 1927 in New York City to the late George and Athina Perikles, and was a graduate of McKinley Tech High School in Washington, DC. She retired from the DC Public School System, was an avid reader and a member of Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Annapolis. She was the loving wife of Louis Cardenas and devoted sister of John Perikles of Silver Spring, Rika Perikles Tayman of Davidsonville and the late Perry Perikles. She was also beloved by many nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday, July 15 at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Rd., Annapolis, MD followed by Kiki’s funeral service at 10am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private.
