Kimberly Anne Corbin - Obituary

imberly Anne Corbin, “Kimmy”, a resident of Davidsonville, MD for five years passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 46, after a long hard-fought battle with cancer. In 1995, she graduated from Old Mill Christian Academy, with honors, six months early and then went onto cosmetology school. Kimmy went to work at Great Clips Annapolis as a manager. She continued her education, putting herself through the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance. She was employed by United Way. Kimmy enjoyed traveling, hiking, camping and loved Ocean City, MD. She also loved nature and animals. Her dog, Steele was a cherished companion. She enjoyed taking him camping and for walks on the farm. She loved the garden and looked forward to the first tomato and fresh picked flowers. Kimmy is survived by her partner, Steven Roy Collison; her parents, Glenn and Gail Corbin and her brothers, Glenn Corbin, III and William Corbin. Funeral service will be held at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Monday, July 22 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Lorraine Park Cemetery in Baltimore, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.
