imberly Diane (Myers) Northcraft, a 22-year resident of Edgewater, Maryland, died at her home on August 24, 2014 following a 10 month battle with cancer. She was 55.
Born April 9, 1959, she was employed for the U.S. Postal Service in District Heights. Kimberly was a member of the Knights of Pythias and enjoyed shopping on QVC, arts and crafts, gardening, movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Northcraft, Jr. on August 8, 2012.
Kimberly is survived by two children, Scott Myers and Crystal (Myers) Greenhill; her parents, Jack Myers and Cordella (Stinchcomb) McMillian; three brothers, Ronnie, Kevin and Brian Myers; three sisters, Natalie (Myers) Cameron, Lisa (Myers) Bodnar and Annette (Myers) Barefoot; and nine grandchildren, Scott Myers, Jr., Kellan Myers, Brandon Greenhill, John Greenhill, Jr., Savannah Myers, Jasmine Myers, Rosalie Myers, Aliyah Greenhill and Elliana Greenhill.
Friends are invited to Kimberly's Life Celebration on Wednesday, August 27 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 2pm at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, 14205 Pleasant Valley Rd NE, Flintstone, MD.
