Krescenz Simmons - Obituary

rescenz I. Simmons, “Kressie”, age 69, a 5 year resident of Stevensville, MD and previously of Anne Arundel Co. died on October 15, 2008 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of cancer. She was born on January 10, 1939 in Washington, D.C. and was a graduate of Annapolis Sr. High School. Kressie drove a school bus in Anne Arundel Co. for many years. She loved to play bingo, antiques and travelling, especially going on cruises. She was the beloved wife of Thomas E. Simmons of Stevensville, MD; mother of Timothy S. Bush of Diamondhead, Miss. and the late Kimberly Cantler; sister of Karl Diegelmann of Alexandria, LA, Marion Judy of CT and the late Loraine Hoyda. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to Kressie's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM where services will be held on Saturday, October 18 at 10:30 AM. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
