Krista J. Card - Obituary

rista Jean Card, 59, of Edgewater, MD, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on December 3, 2021. Born on April 11, 1962 in Michigan to Herbert and the late Carol Graham, Krista attended college and after several jobs in management and hospitality she eventually pursued a career as a contractor with the US Department of Energy. She enjoyed baking and playing the lottery and bingo. Krista had a passion for watching true crime stories and she loved Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel. A savvy shopper, she also enjoyed a good sale and was a devotee of LuLaRoe fashions. In addition to her mother, Krista was preceded in death by her son, Eugene Andrzejewski. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Joseph W. Card; two daughters, Kristina Card and Sarah Jones, both of Edgewater; her father, Herbert Graham; brother, Steve Graham and sisters, Brenda Wright and Linda Adams; and five grandchildren, James, Amy, Maximus, William and Alexis. Friends are invited to celebrate Krista’s life with her family on Sunday, December 12 from 1 p.m. until her funeral service begins at 3 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD.
