Kristopher Carr - Obituary

ristopher Martel Carr, “Kris” 48, a lifelong resident of the Annapolis, MD area, passed away at his home on May 7, 2020 following a 3-year illness. Born on January 22, 1972 in Baltimore, MD to Sharon and the late Henry “Pete” Carr, Kris earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland. He worked for Home Depot and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Kris is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Martha Ann Carr, two daughters, Destiny Hope Carr of Annapolis and Courtney Meneely of Pennsylvania; his mother, Sharon Carr; grandmother, Florence Carr; stepmother, Carol Carr; a brother, Chad Carr; stepbrother, Kevin Sweeney; stepsister, Melissa Sweeney Burgess; a godson, William Cogle, Jr and three granddaughters, Madison, Emerson and Allison. A celebration of Kris’ life will be held for all family and friends once the current social distancing restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help support Destiny’s education. Donations may be sent to Destiny Hope Carr at 107 Kuethe Drive, Annapolis, MD 21403.
