Larry Keith Whitt - Obituary

arry K. “Bubba” Whitt, 73, a 20 year resident of West River, died at his home on April 10, 2026. Born on February 7, 1953 in Raleigh, WV to the late Dillard and Olivia Whitt, he worked for many years at Goddard/NASA in Greenbelt, MD. Bubba enjoyed smoking meat, especially beef jerky, and he loved playing with his old dog Gunner and his “toys” in his garage. Bubba is survived by his daughters, Chasity Whitt, Rebecca Jennings and Chanda Curtis. Relatives and friends are invited to his life celebration on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 10am-1pm at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
