aurentino J. “Larry” Terra, 84, a resident of Annapolis, MD for thirty-four years and previously of Ft. Washington, MD, died on Monday, November 9 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center due to Covid-19 complications. Born on September 30, 1936 in Mineola, NY to the late Larry and Alice Terra, Larry was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and served in the U.S. Air Force for twenty-two years. After retiring from the Air Force, Larry worked with the National Endowment for the Humanities for 18 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed golf and collecting. Larry is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Cathy Terra; his sons, Larry Terra, III, Tracy Terra, Mark Terra and Jeff Terra; his sister Dolores Terra of Connecticut, numerous grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Graveside service and interment with military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
