awrence “Larry” Wayne Campbell, 57, a two-year resident of St. Leonard, MD, who previously lived in Ocean City, MD. for 14 years, died November 20, 2008 at his brother's home in Fairfax Station, VA of natural causes. Born, June 22, 1951 in Washington, D.C., he was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed at Mario's Steak House in Ocean City, MD for 14 years as a cook. His hobbies included fishing, boating and sports of all types. Beloved son of Dorothy J. Campbell of Edgewater, MD and the late Howard E. Campbell, Jr.; father of Heather L. Hayle of Leadyard, CT and Thomas H. Campbell of Waverly, VA; brother of David O. Campbell of Annapolis, MD, William A. Campbell of Fairfax Station, VA and Nancy E. Hendry of Charleston, SC; grandfather of Kiersten Hayle of Coventry, RI and Jason C. Geyer of Leadyard, CT. Friends are invited to Larry's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Friday, November 28, from 6 to 8p.m. where services will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 11:00a.m. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
