awson "Sonny" Alexander Heflin, Jr. (76) passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2015, surrounded by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, brother and wife. Devoted husband of Glenda Ray Heflin; father of Dorothy A. Hanshaw, Lawson A. Heflin, Mark H. Heflin, Wendy F. Hahn, Virginia L. Wilson, George W. Heflin and Theodore U. Heflin; grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 14. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Saturday, May 30 from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am. Interment private.
