Lee Nhare - Obituary

ee Charles Nhare, age 82, of Edgewater, MD passed away on December 24, 2011 at Anne Arundel Medical Center with his family by his side. Born on May 4, 1929 in Syracuse, NY to the late John Davis Nhare and Eva Pond, Lee served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the period between World War II and the Korean War. He worked most of his life as a bus driver with Trailways, where he logged over one million safe driving miles. For the last sixteen years of his life, he was a property manager at a small apartment complex. Lee enjoyed fishing, gun collecting, Orioles baseball and Redskins football. He also had a great love for dogs and wildlife, especially wolves. Lee is survived by three children, John David Nhare, Terri Lee Nhare-Russell and Clyde Robert Nhare; a daughter in law, Robin L. Nhare; six grandchildren, Brandi Sullivan, Shannon Jones, Kelly, Justin and Megan Nhare and Jake Russell; and seven great grandchildren, Madison, Anthony, Mikayla, Aubrey, Kayden, Jaxon and Westin. Friends are invited to Lee’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Thursday, December 29 from 6pm until his memorial service begins at 7pm.
