Lema Jones Burke - Obituary

n Thursday, December 13, 2007; the beloved wife of the late Moses Burke; devoted and loving mother of Ronald Kenneth Burke, Sharon Walter, Brenda Dawson, Carolyn Vandover, Ginger Budd and Robin Barbour; sister of Kermit Jones and Delores Lane. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to the GEORGE P. KALAS LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745 for Mrs. Burke's life celebration on Monday from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 8:30 am at Whitehall Baptist Church, 1205 Farmington Rd., East, Accokeek, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Contributions may be made in her memory to Whitehall Baptist Church.
