eona LaMar Thrift (nee Padgett), On Saturday December 20 in Huntingtown, MD, a native Washingtonian, the beloved wife of the late Barzilla S. Thrift, loving mother of Ray A. (the late Linda)Thrift and Dianne (Roland) Sanner, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great – granddaughter. Friends are invited to Leona's Life Celebration on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, where funeral services will be held on Saturday December 27, 2008 at 10 A.M. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
