eonard Spencer Flood, Sr., age 91, of Riderwood Village, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Culhane Flood, and son, Leonard S. Flood, Jr. Leonard is survived by sisters Beatrice Wyatt (Justin) and Gloria Brewer; brother-in-law Ashby Franklin; sisters-in-law Eileen Lowe, Mary Culhane, Kathleen Mancino (Joseph) and Jacqueline Culhane; nieces Karen Burks and Deborah Franklin. Leonard is also survived by his granddaughter-by-love, Meghan Chu, and many other relatives, friends, and neighbors. Leonard was also preceded in death by siblings Lillian, Horace, Archibald, Elliott, Jr., Clifton, Lorraine Franklin, and Ellian Franklin. On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, friends may join the family at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD to celebrate the life of Leonard S. Flood, Sr.; from 11:00 a.m. until his service begins at 12 noon. The family requests that all attendees observe Covid-19 safety precautions by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
