eslie Wayne “Les” Morgan, of Queen Anne, MD, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016, due to complications from cancer.
He leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Susan Morgan; his son, Logan; two daughters, Jessica Flynn and her husband, Paul, and Kelly Pyle and her husband, Rob; and four grandchildren, Cormac, Brayden, Nathan and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by four sisters, Tambreya Leon, Jacqueline Reed, Shonda Reed and Shelby Butler; and two brothers, Kevin Morgan and his wife, Brenda, and Kory Butler. Les is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Les was born on November 9, 1950 in Monaca, PA. He graduated from Southern High School in Baltimore in 1968 and attended the University of Maryland where he played football. He enjoyed being with friends, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and hanging out at “Steve’s”. He spent most of his time with his family and grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Les will always be remembered as the strong, loving, compassionate man who believed his family came first. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held for Les at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 28 at Safe Harbor Presbyterian Church in Stevensville, MD followed by a celebration of life.
