Levina Ann Carlson - Obituary

evina Ann Carlson, 89, of Sarasota, Florida and previously of Crofton passed away at her sons home in Gambrills on December 20, 2017. Levina was born on November 11, 1928 in Washington, DC to the late Leo and Mary Sneeringer. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's Academy of Washington, DC. Levina retired in 1993 from NASA Goodard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt. She was a member of St. Patrick's, in Sarasota, FL. In addition to her parents Levina was preceded by her husband, John E. Carlson and son, Michael. Survived by her children, John Carlson of Gambrills, Craig Carlson of Crownsville, Barbara Carlson of Hyattsville and Linda Thompson of Sarasota, FL; siblings, Donald, James, Richard, William and Sister M Bernadette CSC, Audrie Dant, Marian Otis, and Joan Moulton. A Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church 1070 Cecil Ave., Millersville, MD on Jan 6th at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
