Lewis Batty, LTC - Obituary

ewis H. Batty, Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.) age 92, passed peacefully on Friday, March 20,2015 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, MD. Loving father of Crystal Keast, Randolph and Nelson Batty. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Laurie, Tom, Jason, Christopher and Kristen and eight great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Mary Waite, nephews and grand nieces and nephews in Canada. Family and friends are invited to Lt. Col. Batty's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 OXON HILL RD, OXON HILL MD on Thursday March 26, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm and on Friday, March 27, from 9:30am until time of service at 10am, at Camp Springs Community Church, 8040 Woodyard Rd, Clinton MD 20735. Interment Ft Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp Springs Community Church, or Shriners Hospital for Children.
