Lillian DiPietro - Obituary

illian Lucille “Linda” DiPietro, 83, of Edgewater, MD died on Monday, August 6 from heart failure. Born on February 4, 1929 in Lexington, VA, she was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing and crossword puzzles. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Victor, whom she married in 1948 and who died in 2002. She is survived by five daughters, Sandra DiPietro, Vickie Fleischhauer and Lynna Baker, all of Edgewater, MD, Susan Dunbar of Greenbackville, VA and Gina DiPietro of Greenwood, DE; two sisters, Hazel Morris of MA and Polly Chittum of VA, she is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to Linda’s Life Celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 9 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 10. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
