n Loving Memory of Lillian Beach Proctor “Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Lill and Aunt Lill” Lillian Beach Proctor, was born to the late Moses Beach and Essie Lucas Beach on August 6, 1931 in Prince Georges County, Maryland. She entered into eternal rest at Ft. Washington Health Center on November 18, 2018. Lillian was raised in Oxon Hill, Maryland. She attended school in the Prince Georges County Public School System. In school, she maintained good grades and played sports. She learned a lot through life experiences, some hard at times others from fortunate circumstances. Lillian developed a work ethic, a love of God, a respect for people and a kind and charitable attitude that served her well during her life on earth. She never hesitated helping anyone in need. As a young child, Lillian was baptized at St. Paul United Methodist Church. She had a beautiful walk with the Lord and placed her complete trust in the promises of God. All her life experiences were under the watchful eye of her loving and merciful Savior. She enjoyed attending church and serving as an usher at St. Paul United Methodist Church. She began ushering in 1951 and continued until she was no longer able. In the 1950s Lillian met and courted John Whittington. From this union four sons were born. During the 1950s she also gained employment with the Prince Georges County School Board as a custodian. She rose through the ranks and ended her 40 year career in May 1994 as a Custodial Supervisor. After working a hard day, she enjoyed relaxing, cooking, eating crabs, talking on the telephone, watching soap operas, reality shows, movies and enjoying family and friends. Lillian was greatly affected by the death of her two sons, Don Beach in 2003 and Anthony “Bo-Bo” Beach in 2013. However, Lillian remained strong and never lost heart and neither was her indomitable faith in the Lord Jesus shaken. Realizing God never makes a mistake, the family humbly bows to God’s will and accepts that Lillian Beach Proctor’s work on earth is now complete. She had seven siblings who preceded her in death; Thomas Beach, James Beach, Edna Simms, Louise Burch, Eunice Dorsey, Helen Mims and Kenneth Beach. Left to cherish her loving memories are two devoted sons Elvis Beach (LaShaon) and Marvin Beach; granddaughters; Quiana, Takila, Michelle, Candie, Alexis and Aliyah. Grandsons; Elvis, Dion and the late Don Beach Jr. Numerous great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Lula Beach; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives, caring neighbors and special friends also survive Lillian. The family is blessed to have had Lillian Beach Proctor as the matriarch of the family. We bid an affectionate farewell to a life well lived and to a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend that was well loved.
