Lilly M. Crampton - Obituary

illy M. Crampton, 86, a longtime resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of District Heights, passed away on September 22, 2026. Born in Washington, DC in 1940, she graduated from Suitland High School in 1959, going on to have a 30-year career as an administrative assistance with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Union. She was a parishioner of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship in Davidsonville, and enjoyed gardening and arts and crafts. Lilly is survived by her nieces, Tracey (Rick) Barrick of Prince Frederick, MD and Katie (Dan) Bailey of Loudon, TN, and her nephew, Richard (Mary Alice) Usmiller of Edgewater, MD. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Lilly’s life on Wednesday, September 30 from 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, where her funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, October 1 at 11 am.
