Lina Privitera - Obituary

n Monday, June 7, 2021, Lina Privitera, age 91. passed away at Inova Fairfax Hospital. She was born January 27, 1930 in Italy to Saverio and Catarina Adamo. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Frank Privitera and Vincent Manzella. She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Kathleen) Privitera, Frank (Mary) Privitera and John (Marija) Privitera; her brother, Joseph (Silvana) Adamo; her grandchildren, Anthony, Frank, Jack, Billy, Natalia and Elena; her great-grandchildren, Alexis, Genevieve and Nicholas. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Lina's Life Celebration on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7804 Livingston Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd., Clinton, MD immediately following the funeral.
