Linda Hull - Obituary

inda Hull, 77, a fifty-two-year resident of Edgewater, MD, and previously of Mayo, died on Friday, January 2 at Anne Arundel Medical Center due to sudden cardiac arrest. Born on May 27, 1948, in Washington, DC, to the late Elward and Sally Sink, Linda graduated from Annapolis High School in 1966 and worked in federal service as an educational technologist in the political science department at the U.S. Naval Academy until her retirement. She was a member of the Bay Hills golf group, the Preserve at Eisenhower golf league, a quilters group, and a book club. Linda enjoyed quilting, golfing, baking, shopping, hosting, boating, travelling, water aerobics, going to the beach, and she especially loved being with her grandchildren. Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years, John “Jackie” Hull; her son, Jeremy (Ashley) Hull of Chesapeake Beach, MD; her brother, Donald Sink of Waldorf, MD; and her grandchildren, William Jacobs, Melvin Muir, IV, and Carson, Madison, and Freya Hull. Friends are invited to celebrate Linda’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, on Monday, January 12, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Another celebration of Linda's life will be held at the American Legion Post 226, 830 Mayo Rd., Edgewater, MD, on Sunday, January 18, from 1 to 4 pm.
