Linda Woodall - Obituary

inda Gail Woodall, 60, a 10-year resident of Frederick, MD and previously of Annapolis, MD died on October 2, 2009 in Frederick, MD after a 1-year illness. Born April 21, 1949 in Springfield, PA, to the late Lester R. and Alberta M. Woodall, she was a 1967 graduate of Annapolis High School, where she was . Linda retired from AT&T, she then went to work for Sharp Communications at Ronald Reagan Airport as a Dispatcher. She competed at the national level in swimming for Vesper Swim Club in Philadelphia, PA and was a member of the relay team that set a national record in the mid-1960's. Her hobbies included reading, ceramics and her pets. Ms. Woodall was an avid Redskins and Orioles fan. She is survived by her siblings, John S. Woodall of Edgewater, MD and Steven A. Woodall of Grasonville, MD. Friends are invited to Linda's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 6pm until time of service beginning at 7pm. Interment private.
