Lois Godfrey - Obituary

n Sunday, January 1, 2012; the beloved wife of the late John F. Godfrey, Jr.; mother of Preston(Kathy), Franklin, James, David(Arleen), Dennis(Denise) and Robert(Dawn) Godfrey; sister of Evelyn Hensley, Ruth Artiglere and Francis Eadie and the late Pauline Winningham, Ashton Eadie, Marion Jones and Wilmot Eadie; grandmother of Mary(Ryan) Artes, Jennifer(Andrew) Kmieciak, Kelli and Brandon Godfrey; great-grandmother of Hannah and Logan Artes, Aubrey and Olivia Kmieciak. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Old Post Chapel, Ft. Myer, Virgnia with entombment following at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverdale Baptist Church, 1177 Largo Rd., Upper Marlboro, MD 20774.
