Loren Carr - Obituary

oren E. Carr, 31, a lifelong resident of Davidsonville died on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Born on October 1, 1980 in Pasto, Colombia, Loren was a 1998 graduate of South River High School, and served in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne, 307th FSB. He was a member of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship and enjoyed playing guitar, writing, and especially loved his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his parents, Judy L. and Eugene M. Carr, Jr.; one brother, Joseph L. (Mindy) Carr of Millersville; three sisters, Amy E. Galloway and Cynthia A. Carr, both of Davidsonville and Pamela S. Carr of Bristol, RI; his grandfather Leslie D. Poff of Annapolis and three nieces and five nephews. Friends are invited to Loren’s Life Celebration on Sunday, April 1 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 2, at 10am. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
