Lorraine B. Zaledonis - Obituary

orraine B. Zaledonis, 86, a 60-year resident of Guilford, CT and previously of Wilkes-Barre, PA, passed away on March 30, 2022 in Annapolis, MD. Born on June 5, 1935 to the late George and Martha Bellas, Lorraine graduated from G.A.R. Memorial High School in Wilkes-Barre. In addition to devoting herself to her family, Lorraine worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Guilford, CT and the Knights of Columbus Council 3928 Ladies’ Auxiliary. She enjoyed boating, dining out at restaurants and, most of all, spending time with family, especially her grandson. Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Frank Zaledonis. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Archer of Guilford, CT and Alexa (& Jerry) Cunningham of Tenants Harbor, ME; her brother, George Bellas of Plains, PA and sister, Barbara Krashnak of Mountain Top, PA; and her grandson, Bryan Archer. The family is planning a private memorial service in the Fall of 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
