Louise Attiliis - Obituary

ary Louise Anders Attiliis, 74, of Ft. Washington, MD, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, March 28, 2013, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born on November 18, 1938 in SW Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Grady and Mary Lou Anders. Her many joys in life included traveling, the beach, spending time with her friends and family, and enjoying her grandchildren. She was a loving Bride to her husband, Frank Attiliis; beloved Mother to her four children, Shan Attiliis, Anthony Attiliis & his wife Vicky, Shelly Walls & her husband Bobby, and Gina Olivera & her husband Mario; adored Grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Danielle and Melanie Attiliis, Alana Hall, and Dominic, Vincent, Anthony, and Sofia Olivera; cherished sister to Alton Lee Anders; treasured Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend to many. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 3, at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10AM on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 310 South Royal St., Alexandria, VA. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louise's name, to the Dominican Province, 4504 21st St., Mt. Ranier, MD 20712.
